The doctor put me on Alesse birth control pills because she told me that will lessen my period flow, thus, decreasing the chance of getting uterus cancer. Is that true? Because I've been on the pill for more than one month now and my first period on the pill was still very heavy. So I don't know if the pill will really decrease the chance of uterus or ovarian cancer.
