Hi, I have just been diagnosed with the above. My dr. said that restrictive Lung Disease is the same thing. I am trying to learn more about this, I know there is no cure. I am looking for long term effects and lifestyle changes.........what is coming my way.

You didn't mention on how old you are, my husband is 39 years old and was diagnosed with an intersittual lung disease with a biopsy of his lung. He is a sick young man , he has been on oxygen at home 24/7 for the last several months. ILS usually responds to prednisone but in his case he hasn't responded well to it. The doctors have recently put him on an anti inflammatory drug so that to clear up the inflammation in his lungs. What are your symptoms and how long have you been sick? :wave:
