Hey all - I have never posted here, but come seeking your feedback.

For about a year now, my ear has been somewhat itchy and dry flakes of skin comes off. Recently I kind of put some pressure on the inside of my ear and it is a little sore.

I went off thyroid meds about a year ago and I thought the dry skin was due to this - but I made an appointment with Doc as I am now kind of second guessing myself.

Anyone heard of anything like this or what it may be?

My appointment is on Wed., but thought you all might have some insight!

Could be a number of things from just "a lesion" to a "staph infection" to "an early skin cancer" to just "scabby dry skin causing sores".......But DO keep your appt! I am thinkin' all will be well! Goodluck and DO let us know what he/she says! God Bless!
