OK, I had an ultrasound and HIDA yesterday. No stones, but 30% EF. Doc says remove it. Is that normal to have it removed when it is so close to the 35% "normal" range??

Yes, it is standard to have it out at that rate. Also, it's only going to get worse, not better. And the healthier you are, the easier the surgery. Don't wait till it's really bad.
