I have been feeling faint and yucky for about a week now. At first I thought I had done an error on meds for blood pressure. Now I am beginning to worry about sugar levels.

A friend took my bs yesterday an 1.5 hours after eating and it measured at 4.9. This morning I went out and bought a machine and took a fasting bs and it was 5.2. Can someone explain the proper ranges?

Thanks

It sounds like your blood sugar is staying in the proper range. The norm is around 4.5-6.5 mmol/L You could be feeling faint for alot of reasons and blood pressure changes are a big reason for faintness. Good luck and I hope this helped

I would be concerned about the blood pressure and meds especially if you feel faint or dizzy when standing up quickly. Your BG numbers are something a diabetic would nearly die to see.
