Hi,

Has anyone here ever smelled the smell of someone long after they have died.

Sometimes I will smell the smell of my one grandmother, that has passed on more than 15 years ago. I will be in my own home, a home that she was never in. I will be sitting here doing anything then all of a sudden I will get this strong odor of her. I don't know if I am remembering what she smelled like or, if her soul is coming to see me. Sometimes I will be sitting at my computer and I can smell her then all of a sudden I feel a presence of someone then I will look at my one picture that is like a mirror and it looks like there is a background image of someone for a split second. Then everything is gone, the smell, presence, and the image. It doesn't even scare me anymore, it happens so often.

Anyway the reason I am saying all of this is because last night I was doing something that my other grandmother loved doing. Supposedly she is still alive I haven't seen or heard from her in 12 years, long story. Well, all of a sudden I could smell her, it was of very strong. She had this smell about her that no one in this world or anyone could have. It was so strong, the first thing I could think of was her and if anything could have happened to her. I told my husband all about it and he is not really thinking too much about it. Because I always tell him when I can smell my other grandmother, so it is not even phasing him. I mean my body felt weird last night when this happened and my hair felt like it was standing on end.

That is all I have been thinking about today.

Does anyone else believe that this could really happen......
