I went in for a treatment today called Intrasmuscular Stimulation, anyone else ever heard of or had this done?

I'm not quite sure about it...,my pain levels are quite high tonight, alot of burning. I guess it's a bit like accupuncture or perhaps a myleogram. Needles inserted into the muscles and electrical stimulation put on them. I have an appointment to go back for another treatment next week, which I'll keep but man, if it hurts this bad next time I'll be really reluctant to do it again. In fact it hurts so bad that it's keeping me up and usually it's not the pain that keeps me awake.

I'll be interested to hear if anyone has experience with this and what the results were.
