Is there something you can take to make you more fertile? I have always had irregular periods until they put me on bc. I had sex with my fiance for almost a year - unprotected without bc and never got pregnant. Now I have been on bc for almost a year. I want to be able to have a baby after we get married... how do I prepare? We will probably wait another year into marriage.. but I want kiddos badly and I am just afraid of not being able to. My mother and father are extremely fertile one of them came from a family of 10 and their parents families of 12, and on the other side was 2 and 6, and my family is 9. Those are just the kids. Now that is good if your parents are fertile right?

Does it make a difference?

i've been told that living healthier makes you more fertile, that is if nothing is wrong with you that you can't have children. eating healthier, taking vitamins, not smoking, stuff like that. those are the only natural things i know of that i've heard that make you more fertile.

There are all kinds of natural supplements that you can buy online that are supposed to boost fertility. I'm not sure how well they work, but you might consider it. Also, since you already tried cinceiving on your own for a year, you can consult a Dr. For some women, it is as simple as a hormonal imbalance that can be easily corrected.

Fertile family members are probably a good sign, however, I have extremely fertile family on all sides and have been unable to conceive.

Good luck to you!
