as far as I know I'm the only one on this board to have had 3 sinus surgeries and about to have my 4th and most serious sinus surgery!
No, it is nothing to brag about, it stinks!
However, my surgery is in 2 weeks. I'm having a Frontal Sinus Obliteration which is a complete removal of the frontal sinuses out of my head. Yes, I'm scared.
I've been around here for a couple of years now so I feel that since I think I'm the only one to have this surgery or has had this type of surgery I will be helpful in the future to anyone else who may someday have it.
I will be glad to share anything about this experience after the surgery. I hear it fixes most of your allergy problems so that I'm looking forward to.
Anyways, 2 weeks now and each day is a big count down for me!

Good luck, Halls. I also have had surgery 3 times, I don't recall the proper name, but the lining of the sinuses was scraped off to remove polyps and cysts. Now I am waiting to go see another doc as I am back at square one, and my reg ENT says he has done all he can. Short of spending my life on ever increasing doses of the dreaded prednisone, I guess I have few options. I don't know what your surgery entails, nor what your sinus trouble was exactly, but I wish you luck. I would undergo anything if it would get rid of my problems with sinus crap and with chronic hives... :rolleyes:
