I was recntly diagnois as type2 about 6 months ago, I have lost 57lbs. no meds, diet and exercise, I walk on avg 4-7 miles a day, feel the best in 10yrs, 30day bg is 85.8 hardly ever above 110 mostly 70-95, in the last 6 weeks I have developed red spots on my lower legs thay range in size from pin head to the size of a silver dollar, anywhere from 30-50 on each leg and only a couple on my stomach, I have seen two different doc's one says it vasculitis and the other disagree but both have put me on predisone at different times. it clears up with the drug but as soon as I'm of it for a week they come right back, the spots dont itch or hurt. Is there anyone out there that has heard of this conditon. I dont belive its related to the diabetes, havnt been able to find anything on it, any info would be nice

This is just a thought but could is be eczema? I have two little one's with it and they get the red spots on their legs and ankles. The only thing that clears it up is a corticosteroid cream called Dermatop. Lotions will not work for them at all. Sad to say, with certain skin conditions, the only thing you can do is to keep treating it with the steroids. Sometimes, with enough treatment, they will go away. Good luck and I hope you find an answer
