 Hi all
Thanks for sharing your stories. You are a great encouragement to me :)

Tomorrow is the beginning of my 2nd cycle of Clomid.

Would love to chat with others who are using Clomid also.

Lots of Baby Dust to all

I just finished my second cycle of Clomid. I have never had any side effects while on the Clomid (I was on days 3-7). This last cycle though my follicles got very large, which was great...and I could actually feel ovulation (which I never have before). This matched OPK that predicted ovulation and my temps told me afterwards that in fact I did ovulate...so here's to praying and hoping I'm preggers this month!! :)

:bouncing: Yay!! That is great news. Congratulations.
My fingers and toes are crossed for you! Lots of Baby Dust being sent your way!!!!!
Please keep us updated.

A few questions if you don't mind?
* Were you on 50mg or 100 mg of Clomid?
* Did you O on your first cycle?
* Did you have to take anything else with it?

I am taking 100mg Clomid Days 4-8.
No side effects this time either (yet!)
1st cycle I didn't O, hence doubling the dose!

:) Lots of Baby Dust

I have had no side effects.

I am glad to hear that you are feeling good on the clomid. I have been off of it for 7 days. My uterus and insides are so very sore. I have never felt like this. Do you think it is the clomid? Is it too early to be pregnant or feel like this. My lower back also hurts and I feel so heavy in my tummy. Did you feel like this on your last dose of clomid? I am so confused. It does not feel like af cramps it is weirdly different. Please help!

Hi Shawna,
I do not know what could be causing so much pain?
I think it sounds like it is worth seeing the Gyno about?
I didn't have that on my first cycle but I didn't O either!

It does say somewhere that if you experience abdominal pain to contact the doctor- I think that might be the best idea.

Maybe you are preggers???? I hope so.......
Sending lots of baby dust your way

Just wondering - did you chart temps? Use OPK's? or have the Day 21 Blood Test?

I hope the pain vanishes and you get a BFP really soon! :)

To all my TTC friends
My Update
Tomorrow is my last day of my second Clomid cycle (100mg) a day. I feel quite edgy but no other symptoms (and I am unusually teary!). We then move to the next phase- The Baby Dance Phase!!!!- Then Day 21 Blood Tests. I am really wondering how long we will be doing this for? Everyone around me (at work) is happily announcing their pregnancies......when is it our turn??

Sorry about the whinging as I said I am a bit emotional :(

Anyway, Thank you for listening to me and I hope to see lots more BFP for all those TTC.
:) :) :)

I hope you get preggers this month. My pain is not intolerable but it is annoying. My lower back hurts, I am nauseated, and my ovaries feel like they will explode. I have been pregnant before and I don't remember feeling like this. Wouldn't it be too early for symptoms? I am glad to hear that you are doing good on the clomid. I have not been charting my temps or using a monitor. I know I probably should have but I just can't seem to remember to take my temps in the morning. I will remember to do it at like 10:00. If this cycle does not work then I will definately chart next month. I wish my doctor would let me come in for a blood test at 21 days. They just told me when I get a positive test to call them and if I don't he will call in more clomid.

 Hi there all!

Shawna, I don't think it would be too early for symptoms...some of which might I add sound very promising. I think everyone is different.
Good Luck.
It would be good if your DR would test at day 21 then you would have a clear picture if you are o'ing or not. Please keep us updated - let's hope June is the month for both of us.

Hello,
Well I finally feel good today. I still have nausea but I am not hurting. I think I was ovulating or something. I thought clomid made you have nausea while you were taking it not days after. Has clomid made anyone else sick 9 days after? I hope I am nauseated from pregnancy. Who knows I guess we will see.
Aussie teacher- Are you ovulating yet? How are you feeling? Will this be your first pregnancy? I have a good feeling that June is the month for us! My last pregnancy was great I had no morning sickness, swelling feet or anything like that. It was too easy is guess. My son is 2 and he is a little angel. Everything has gone so smooth with him. He was conceived naturally. I guess this next baby will give a run for my money.

To answer some questions
This will be our first pregnancy....we never imagined it would be this difficult!

I am not sure if I have o'd yet- will know more in another week. I am using an OPK called Maybe Baby.

Am feeling pretty good and really hoping that June will be the month for us all! :) :) :)

Shawna,
I am glad to hear that the pain has gone- maybe you were o'ing? This could be a great sign. My fingers are crossed for you! I am sure this next bub will be just as perfect as your son...even though this process may have taken a little longer than your first.
Here is sending lots of Baby Dust your way.

Hello,
I am 5dpo and I feel normal. I have slight nausea and my tummy feels full or bloated. I am not sure if it is side effects from the clomid or what. I think it would be too early to have pg symptoms but who knows. how soon can one test and what is the best test to use? I called my doc when I was in pain and he said that I was oving. He said it sounds like the clomid is doing its job. I guess we will see soon.
Aussieteacher- Have you ov yet? Are you having any pain from oving? I hope things are working out for you and your dh. Have fun while trying!

 Thanks Shawna, I really appreciate your support!
I have just taken 100mg of Clomid this month. That will go to 150mg next month if I don't O this cycle (which I am very much doubting will happen) and the Gyno will proabably add metformin(?) as well.
Thurs 15th June is my next Day 21 Blood test and we will go from there.

I have a good feeling that June will be the month for you- it is all sounding really positive. I understand that you want to test but see if you can wait a bit longer as BFN are too disappointing especially if you are preg but just tested too early. I have my fingers crossed for you :)

Please keep me updated

Sorry it has taken so long to reply, but to answer your questions from before...I took 50mg Clomid (nothing else) my first and second cycles. I think I ovulated with my first cycle, although my follicles were pretty small with that cycle. I know I ovulated with my second cycle...but alas, I just got my AF 2 days ago...not pregnant again. :( But I've had thin uterine lining on my ultrasounds, which was worse on the Clomid...which they told me could decrease the chance of implantation. So, off to the specialist I go this month. I also am having an HSG test in about a week, where they check to make sure your uterus and follopian tubes are normal shape and are open. My husband just had a semen analysis 2 weeks ago...unfortunately the swimmers movement is a little on the low side, so we've got issues. However, I hope this is the month for both of you Aussieteacher and shawnaslover! Good luck!

I'm a newbie at TTC, and I am trying to figure out my cycle & when I might be OV, and now I am reading your posts to find out, I may not even be ovulating at all?!! Do you have normal AF's even if you don't OV? what are the signs that you don't? or do you just have to wait & see??
my cycles vary from 28-32 days, today is cd22 & I just know that it did not work this month, I feel all the normal prepping for my AF. :( and we BD'd on days 10 & 11, 13-18, 20 & 21!!
I am 32 years old, and have watched nearly half of my friends do some form of IVI, IVF, even had others carry for them.. I know how hard it can be, but never really understood all the whys?
P.S.
they all eventually conceived, so baby dust to all!!!!!!!

Hey girls,
I am starting to worry because I have no symptoms at all today. I guess the clomid wore off or something. Heyknack- My doc prescribed me Estradiol to thicken up my uterus. This is my first round of clomid and I guess he wanted to make it work. I will find out next week if it has. I hope so that would be great. Aussieteacher- hang in there it will happen this month!
Sweet73- I have not ovulated on my own in 8 months. My cycles were from 32 to 40 days. Several times I had to take provera. My bleeding was different. Sorry for TMI but it started brown spotting and then got super heavy and then the next day I didn't even need a liner. I would think it was gone and then I would end up staring back after a couple of days. This would last for 10 days. It was so annoying because I never knew what product to use. My last cycle was on May 17 and it was very weird. I started my clomid that cycle but it was 16 days after my other period. I don't know what that was about but I have never had an AF 2wks apart. Sorry so long.

 Hello all!
Thank you all so much for responding- it is so nice to come home from a day at work where you think you are the only person in the whole world going through all this to find some support. So thank you all again for your willingness to share.
Heyknack- How are things going this cycle?
Sweet 73- I apparantly do not O on my own. I will have a sort of regular period on the contraceptive pill but will spot even when taking that. When off the pill I can go anywhere up to 3 1/2 months without an AF and then have her for 2 weeks. Hope that information is helpful
Shawna- How are you going? Fingers crossed that this is the month!

As for me - more blood tests this coming week to see if I have O'd. I don't think I have- not that I would really know what that is supposed to feel like anyway! DH sample seems all good- He is having it checked a second time just to be sure! But we can't get to that point until I O! Although the Gyno has us BDing on CD 10/12/14/16/18!

Please all keep in contact- lets hope for some BFP's really soon

Hey girls,
Today is 10 dpo and I am pretty calm about not testing. I am not sure why but it is like I know I can't and I am ok with that. Maybe that means something. I really don't have any symptoms. I did up until 2 days ago and now they are gone. I have very slight nausea but I keep blaming that on other things. When I was pregnant with my ds I didn't have any symptoms until a few weeks into the pregnancy. When is it ok to test. I know it is best to waite until your period is due but I heard you can at 10 days. I guess I can waite.

Hey all! Sweet 73--it's comforting to read that all your friends conceived. Maybe there's hope for us. Thanks for sharing that. Also, let me know how the herbal stuff goes (vitex). I bought 3 months-worth of herbs and still haven't started them thinking they might affect my hormone levels for my upcoming blood tests. And I want to know my diagnosis for why I'm not conceiving!! I just really want to know why. But if I get the ok from my RE at my upcoming appointment, I'll start them (I don't expect he'll think they work knowing how doctors are, but if they don't hurt anything, why not?).
Aussieteacher--did you find out if you O'ed yet? I hope so!!! Lots of baby dust!!
Shawnaslover--estradiol huh? Wish my doc would've prescribed that, b/c I really felt the ovulation last month like never before. I always wonder if I would be pregnant now if only my uterine lining were thick enough...Anyway, I guess I'll find out what's next at my RE appointment in a couple weeks.

I'm just on day 6 now of my new cycle. My periods are much shorter after the Clomid. Before I was on Clomid, I would have days of brown spotting before my period, then 6-8 days of period, then more spotting...so in all I'd have brown or spotting for 2-3 weeks. Now I just have had 4-6 days of bleeding, no spotting after Clomid (2 cycles). No clomid this cycle, so I'm not looking forward to the period after this month, lol. I have a HSG test in 3 days (hysterosalpingogram, to see if my uterus and follopian tubes are open)...wish me luck! I've heard it hurts but just for a few seconds. I'm a big wuss, so we'll see how I do! Then the RE appointment on the 21st.

Baby dust to all of us, good luck!!

Hey girls,
I am going to test in the morning. Since my periods are so irregular I'll waite forever before I know if I've missed it. Tommorrow will be CD 28 and I hope that is long enough waite. I hope to get a BFP but I realy don't think I will. I have absolutely no sign of being pregnant. A few days ago I was having nausea and backaches but it is like they have vanished. I don't remember feeling pregnant with my first so maybe that is common for me. I guess we'll see in the morning. Aussieteacher- when can you test? I hope you ovulated. Have you got your blood work yet. I hope this is our month!!!!!!!!

hey,
I tested this morning and got a BFN. I hope it was too early but I doubt it. I am going to waite and test again Friday. I think Friday is when my period is due. I am so disappointed. I guess you try to prepare yourself but you are never really prepared. If Friday's test is neg. I guess I'll be doing cycle 2 of clomid.

Don't give up yet. I know it is hard but hang in there.

I go for the Day 21 blood test tomorrow- doubt I ovulated but am just now starting to get a couple of little symptoms- heavy boobs, increased CM- not sure what all that is about?? Will let you know how the blood test goes

Thanks for all the support

Sounds like you are pregnant. Heavy boobs are one of the first signs. I hope you are. Good luck. I guess I'll be going on to round two of clomid. My doc wants me to fax in my temp chart. Like a dummy I haven't been doing a temp chart. I have been doing it since last Thursday but that is all I have. My temps have been in the 98's and today it was 98.6. I was kinda hot so I don't know what that was about.
