Hi, recently I don't know if I'm overreacting but I've noticed a lot more floaters and over sensitivity in eyes. I think I been noticing 'flashing' but it only comes in light backgrounds. If it's dark I don't see flashing so does that mean it could just be from the floaters? Please help, I'll be reading responses. Do you see 'flashes' when closing your eyes too or no? I have to know if I'm just being a nervous nelly.

I see little "sparks" out of the corner of my eye from time to time. It occurs randomly, sometimes I don't notice it for weeks. Though, unlike you, I see these "sparks" in dimly lit areas as well.

I also have a lot of floaters.. I've had them for as long as I can remember. When I was a lot younger (around 6 or 7) I used to lay on my bed and look up at the white ceiling and move the floaters around. I wasn't quite sure what they were at the time.

I have had this for a number of years and my eye doctor has noticed nothing seriously wrong with my eyes (other than bad vision.)
