I have a small growth/lump on the back of my head, towards the bottom of the right occipital lobe. The lump is neither hard nor soft and protrudes slightly from the back of my head. I've had the lump for about three years and it hasn't changed in size. I began to get worried after I started to experience dull headaches in the area near the lump and about two years ago, I would always wake up with a headache. I went to the doctor and she told me that I should see a dermatologist but I don't think that my problem has anything to do with my skin. I had some blood work done to see if I had a problem with my thyroid gland but my doctor never called so I don’t think the results were bad. I was wondering if I should get an MRI.
