Hi,
I'm new to these boards. I am a trich sufferer and I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem. It started out with pulling my eyebrows and eyelashes and has moved on to pulling the hair on my head. It got better for a while, but it is really getting me down now.
I am going to university in September and I am worried that people will stare and not want to be friends with me. Because, lets face it, it really isn't normal.
The worse thing is that sometimes I don't even know I'm doing it, so it's not a question of just stopping. I am hoping my eyebrows and eyelashes will grow back before uni, but I know I have no chance with me hair. My parents have suggested shaving my head, because then I won't be able to pull and I might get out of the habit. But I really don't want to do that
Has anyone got any ideas at all. Please help me, I'm at a complete loss!!

Hi, Sephi
I would suggest that you visit the OCD board, as it has a lot of info. about this OCD-related condition called Trichotillomania. Good Luck! :)
