For the last 2 weeks or so, I've had this feeling in the pit of my stomach. I also have very little to no appetite as well as being a little tired some days. (That may just be lack of sleep) This feeling is similar to the feeling you get when you break up with a loved one or have something serious on your mind. That hollow, empty "I'm really not hungry" feeling. Strangely enough though, I don't have any stress in my life and everything seems to be going pretty well for me. I can eat, I don't have any stomach pain after eating, bowels are normal, the smell of food doesn't bother me etc. I am somewhat overweight by about 15-20 pounds and until recently had a VERY good appetite. Now I eat because I know I have to, but as far as hunger goes it's just not there. This feeling is not constant, it comes and goes thoughout the day. It has me concerned because it's not like me not to be hungry at all. Does anyone else out there have or experienced these symptoms?

I have definitely experienced that feeling, and often wondered why.
Are you positive there is nothing bothering you?? underlying stress??
Maybe you are overworked... and exhausted.
I suggest a few days of rest and relaxation and then if you aren't feeling better, give the doc a call. ;)
