I have very bad allergies, but this year it's insane. I went to the dr the week before last and she gave me a steroid shot... then I went back last week because I was still wheezing and when I blew my nose one side was blood the other was green.
The past 4 days or so, I have been sneezing non-stop.. to the point of passing out and feeling incredibly dizzy. It's as though the sneeze comes from deep in my chest and in rapid cession.. 15-20 times. I've also been coughing and running a temp. My dr's diagnosis was a chest infection and sinus infection on the visit last week. I have an appt for Thursday, but should I contact them earlier?

it sounds like a sinus infection to me. if the doctor thought it was anything else they wouldve done something about it. going back in a week shouldnt be an issue. i know around where i live the pollen has been awful this year, so that probably doesnt help your symptoms. take care.

I'm just worried because of the horrible sneezing fits... seriously like 50 a day 15-20 sneezes at a time and a deep cough.

Sounds like my husband. We're talking day-long sneezing fits where he can't do anything else but be doubled-over sneezing for hours on end. Problem is - he can't take any allergy meds now because for some reason he reacts to the steroids and in a day or so after taking reactine or flnase or claritin his nose will swell up and be super painful which is, for him, worse than the all-day massive sneezing attacks. it's really a drag because he's usually at work but when he does come home he's useless because of his terrible allergies. Which have gotten worse since I've known him. It's pretty disruptive for both of us.
