I am one of those people. ADD runs in my family and have the worst attention span on the planet. I didn't start making decent grades until i started taking ritalin in the 9th grade then later on adderall. I made awesome grades, but i was pretty unhappy. It was disheartening knowing i'd have to put up with that the whole time on add meds.
I quit adderall and college around 20 years old, now, 29, I'm realizing i need to go back!
My girlfriend just switched from adderall to concerta and she says its a life saver for her. I want to try it and finish up school and see if it helps with every day life.
The thing I don't have insurance and i definitely can't afford it, and I'm wondering how difficult it will be to get medicated again.
If anyone has any suggestions, please throw them my way.
thanks for reading,
