Hai,

It has been 2 months since I(29 years) married my wife(24 years). We are performing vaginal intercourse almost daily but still awaiting pregnancy. After withdrawing the penis from vagina after ejaculation, the semen is coming out. Is it normal? Will not the semen get deposited in the uterus? Also she is travelling about 100 km to and fro to her office. Will the jumps and jerks of the public transport bus affect the fertilization? If we are not successful after this month is it necessary to perform fertility tests?

I will be thankful to you all for valuable advices and suggestions.

It can take up to a year to get pregnant. I wouldn't worry about fertility issues yet. Just have fun trying. As for the semen coming out, that is very common. If your trying to get pregnant I would suggest that your wife plans on staying flat for at least a 1/2 an hour or so after sex. As for her drive I don't think the bumps in her commute will affect anything. Hope I was somewhat of a help. Good Luck Trying! :)

It is imperative that the intercourse be timed properly for pregnancy. A woman has certain times of the month that she can get pregnant. Your wife should be keeping track of when she has her menstrual period. If her periods are at regular intervals, she can fairly accurately predict her fertile time, the peak day being approximately 14 days before her next cycle begins.

There are many good websites that go into greater detail about the process.

Good luck!

I often have what seems like LOTS of semen that comes out after my husband and I have intercourse. My doctor has reassured me many times that this is perfectly normal and will not decrease fertility. Also, the public transportation will not affect fertility, nor will it hurt an unborn child. Remember that a baby is safely cushion inside a sac. An intense fall or accident might have an impact on the baby, but I don't think regular busses or trains will have any effect whatsoever. You might want to double-check this with a doctor.

Thanks for your replies. Actually we were getting up after 5 minutes after ejaculation and she use to wash her genitals because we are concerned about UTI. Will this affect the chances? Also I have consulted 2 nurses to know about the safe/unsafe periods of menstrual cycle but both are giving contradictory information. I will be thankful if I can get the correct information regarding this.

Thanks

I have read that lying with a pillow under her hips may help.. for about 20-30 mins after intercourse.. time for some pillow talk! ;)

DH and I have been TTC baby no.2 for 3 years now and finally conceived last month.. only to miscarry.. but at least it's still possible after so long!
They do say after a year to speak with your gp though.

good luck.. and try to relax and enjoy! :D

I dont know is this will help but me and my boyfriend of 1yr. have been sleeping together for a pretty long time about 2 or 3 yrs. give or take. Once we started dating we have been having sex pretty much everyday for about a yr. except for certain times when we were unable to be together, in those times we went a month at the most without sex about 2 times in our realtionship. I finally got pregnant in Feb. so it took us a pretty long time. But then I actually lost the baby(miscarriage) and they doctor said I am perfectly normal (fertile and healthy) So I dont know what exactly we did differant when I became pregnant but I do know it took us a while to get pregnant, so be patient and nature will take its course and what is ment to be, will.
Hope I gave you some insight, Good Luck

I just started trying with my husband, and have never done it without a condom until now, I found the seman comes out of me also. Good to know we are not the only ones out there with that problem if you can call it one.
