Ozone purifiers are actually bad for allergies and asthma. Get a good air purifier with a HEPA filter. I have one in my bedroom and living room and they work great.

It is my understanding that it is dangerous to breathe this fumes. I have one I sometimes run in a closed off room where fumes can't get into the rest of the house. I can't tell any difference in the mold problem.

I have started using a dehumidifier which seems to help.

I have had testing for mycotoxins in the blood as the mold was in the cellar and attic and heavy penicillium spores in the dust all over the house. Cellar had penicilium, chaetomium, cladosporium, aspergilluis and we get water intrusion and had wood partitions from when we moved in years ago that got rotten. They are gone now. iSince there was no visable mold upstairs I found out about spores in the dust by swabbing myself and sending to the lab -- cheaper than the inspector who did the cellar and an air test upstairs. The air sample wasn't bad but the dust wasn't disturbed at the time either. Had the cellar and attic professionally remediated (extremely expensive and insurance would not cover) and did the rest ourselves. Doc says I am at risk for liver and kidney cancer and it may be the cause of all my other very numerous health problems including mastectomy for breast cancer.

Cleaned the whole house with moldzyme, an enzyme (safe) cleaner. Post swabbing was good. Use air purifiers, dehumidifiers and airfree that incinerates mold spores and virus and bacteria. With all that going you should be mold free.

Just wanted you to know I found out ozone generators are really bad and you shouldn't even get an air purifier with an ionizer.
