 Dunno if this is the correct section, but I have yet another question. I've been having nosebleeds several times a day for the past week. I realise dry weather can cause nosebleeds, but it has been humid and hot lately. I don't think any veins or anything are ruptured, I don't blow my nose very hard, and I've not gotten hit in the nose at all. Any ideas on what's up?

Try this... this works for me as have been getting frequent nose bleeds as well, put a smal amount of vasoline ( the one in the tub thats labeled as petrolium jelly) on the end of a Q-Tip and gently swab a nostral. Use a clean end of the Q tip for each nostral BTW. But don't over glob your nose with it...it will feel odd. I do it once a day...normally at night before I go to bed. Hope that helps.

Ok. I'm getting sick of it. I tried it all. I'm bleeding a lot now. But I really don't wanna go to the doctor. I'm bleeding 2-5 times per day, normally 4. For about 8 minutes at a time. I haven't said anything to my family, I just don't wanna go to the doctor. But my dad is starting to think I'm cutting myself and such. Anyone have ANY ideas before I'm forced to go to the man in the white coat?

I suggest you go to the man in the white coat. Only to be safe. It's just a nose bleed. It's nothing that serious. Maybe you can take some sort of medication for nose bleeds. You can't be having nose bleeds forever without doing anything about them. Take my advice, just tell someone before it gets worst. Everything will be okay. Don't worry. Just tell someone. Bye:wave:
I just thought maybe you can go ask one of the pharmacists on what kind of medication you can take for nose bleeds. I always ask the pharmacy before I go to the doctor or when I just cant afford to go to the doc. Ask your pharmacist what you can do to stop nose bleeds. He/She will know what to do. It doesn't hurt to ask!

When I was younger (around 14) I had a period where I had several nose bleeds in a day. Turned out I had a "deviated septum". Problem was made worse by several polyps. All was solved with a little outpatient surgery and some stuff to reduce the polyps. So all this to say you need to see the doc. Besides, blood is really tough to get out of clothes. Eventually your parents will figure this one out!
