Hi all..
I have breifly gone through the posts & have not found enough info on my questions & concerns so I am posting them for any feedback.
My husband & I have decided that this was going to be the month we start "Free Loving". I am 32 years old, have never been pregnant before, and was on the pill from age 15 util 22, ever since my only form of birth control has either been a condom or the pull out method.
The first time he ejaculated in me, I was a little nervous about it & ran to the toilet to push it out (not knowing if this even matters), the next night, I was more relaxed about it, and now I am obsessed about it! It has gone from, lets see how it goes, to full fledge wanting to be pregnant more than anything... it is really strange.
I think what has really happend is I just thought that if we tried & did not succeed, that something is wrong.. I think that is what I am more obsessed about than anything... I just really want to know if we are able to have children, and if I knew the answer to that was yes, I wouldn't mind not being pregnant right away.
MY QUESTIONS:
1.) I vary from 28-32 day cycles, does this mean I ovulate on day 14 of a 28 cycle & day 16 of a 32?
2.) I notice a change in discharge at some point, it resembles egg whites, does this mean I have finished ovulating? or am I ovulating?
3.) And if this discharge appears, does that mean I did not get pregnant? or would it be there anyway?
4.) Should we have sex every day during possible ovulation days? or every other for potency?
MY CONCERNS:
My husband & I (before he was my husband) were sexually active for a few months, when all of a sudden, the discharge during sex became very thick & very white (no smell at all)... It has been like that ever since, but we were sexually active for months already, and it was clear & normal before. I told my OBGYN about it, and she said that it was normal, nothing to worry about, she tested me for everything, and I was completely fine. However, I read somewhere that sperm has trouble getting through vaginal secretions at some times, but when you are ovulating the secrections change to make it easier for the sperm to get through... my husbands poor sperm have an obstacle course to get through in my situation, the white secretion never lets up, not any time of the month (sorry if this sounds awful) we have to wipe off a few times during sex. Does this happen to anyone else? Is this a problem when trying to get pregnant?
Thanks for reading my post, any info is appreciated!

The half-way point for ovulation is an estimate. The best way to determine ovulation is to either chart your daily waking temperature (basal body temperature) or use ovulation predictor kits. Not all women ovulate at the half-way point -- although for a lot of women, it is 2 weeks before their next period. Ovulation for me is 12 days before my next period.
The egg white discharge is a sign that your body is ready to/is ovulating. Discharge disappearing shortly after ovulation is normal. If the discharge returns shortly before you expect your period, it CAN be a sign that you are pregnant, but it's not always the case.
When you have sex is up to you. The 4 days leading up to ovulation and the day of are very important. Some Drs say to have sex every other day, some say every day. Generally, the rule of thumb is if there is no known problem with your husband's sperm, daily sex is ok.
The white discharge that you describe sounds strange to me. Perhaps you should consider a 2nd opinion?
Best wishes in your journey! ** Baby dust**
