Hello Ladies!
I am wondering - does anyone else seem to get random aches and pains in their joints? I have been experiencing foot, hand, and back aches and pains lately. I just had a physical and blood work and other than my total protein level being low, I am fine. Just seem to have these aches and pains every once in a while and wondered if it could be part of peri. I am on a low dose pill, which has worked great for me. My feet have been bothering me also lately, expecially in the morning. I am only 43 so I hate to think it is "old age" creeping in!

hello mary
since my peri symptoms started to get bad in feb I have had aches and pains in many of my joints - the elbows, feet, cramping in legs, aching shoulders and neck and low back. I have never suffered from aches and pains so bad and as I am still having periods (erratic but still coming) the aches and pains are worse just before and during . I have stiffness in turning my head all the time as well. I am not even 41 yet! Its such a pain.
regards
Linda
p.s my sister just started peri and she has been having back pain - she is two years older than me. Our mum had an early meno so it is definitely related.

Aches and pains! One of the many, many symptoms we get to deal with. The worst of your list for me have been the leg cramps. For a while, it was everynight and some were so bad that they actually left my leg very sore. Besides the bio homones, I eat yogurt everyday (get the calcium, and I hate milk) and take magnisum. One of the three or all combined have helped my leg cramps considerably.
