The prenatal vitamins I am taking during TTC contain vitamin A. I have just read on a site today that vitamin A might not be good during pregnancy. Have you guys heard anything about that? Should I switch to vitamins without vitamin A?

Excessive amounts of Vitamin A are not good. The study that I found said that women who take more than 10,000 IU of vitamin A are at risk for delivering babies with birth defects. My prenatals have 4,000 IU, which is considered about 50% of the daily requirement. Hope this helps!

U should be fine with the amount in ur prenatals, just dont take ne more than recommended. also i think its better if u get the vitamin a made from beta-cerotene, i remember my doc mentioned that to me.
