im always reading about how unsuccesful pvc ablations are. well i was at my cardio appt last week and he was really urging me to get it done. he thinks since im only 21 and i have so many its the best option for me when it comes to quality of life. he said he has done many successful pvc ablations and mine is the easy kind, my pvc's originate from one area in my heart. he sent me home to think about it and also scheduled a cardiac MRI which i had yesterday. my family is saying nooo way to the ablation since the women on my dads side of the family get them and havent had any problems other then a couple episodes of passing out. i dont think they realize just how much they bother me. well ive decided im NOT going to have the ablation done now because my family is really advising me not to. has anyone been told by there doctors that an ablation was the best option??? does anyone have any successful pvc ablation stories?? =/

Remember that the decision is always YOURS. Get a second opinion if you want one. Get a third. There's a famous non-interventional cardiologist in San Diego that workbea has been proselytizing about all over this board. Get as informed as you can. Then, if you still want it, you can do the ablation.

I agree that you should get a second opinion. See what another cardio has to say and then weigh their advice.
