Hey all,
I think that I may have a yeast infection and my ovulation date is Tomorrow!! Dh and I really want to get pregnant and have been bd's for the past few days but we are afraid that my yeast infection may affect getting pregnant. Does anyone know anything about this??? I have not used any medications or treatments yet for fear that they also may have a negative affect on ttc.
Any Information Would Be GREAT!!
Thanks Ladies,

If you do indeed have a yeast infection, the ph of your cervical mucus will not be favorable to sperm. I think that it's better to get rid of the infection and be well prepared for bding next month. If you use a product like Monistat, the box will more than likely tell you if you can BD while taking the treatment. Good Luck!!

Hi Jacqueline... I just wanted to let you know that I got a yeast infection before I got my BFP this time around. Now, I don't know if I got it before or after I concieved... as I don't know my conception date... but I do know that a yeast infection will /not/ prevent you from getting pregnant. If you have already BD'd that might be good enough, but it probably wouldn't be a good idea to do more BDing until the infection clears. Just my own personal experience, DH and I did before I realized I had a yeast infection and it seemed to make everything worse!! But I wanted to let you know that I do specifically remember reading (when I was researching YIs) that they will not prevent pregnancy. Hope this helps... I am really hoping for you!!! Take care girlie.
