Thanks to anyone who can help Sponsor IBozz 06-17-2006, 04:09 AM MCHC is the mean cell haemoglobin concentration, I really wouldn't read too much into an abnormal result, 1 in 20 normal people would have an abnormal result by definition of normal ranges and in the absence of other abnormal haemoglobin based results it's alnost certainly nothing to worry about. The other results are different white blood cell types, % means percentage and # means absolute count so the results are really just being reported twice. The above 1 in 20 thing still applies, but if they are grossly abnormal, not just a tiny bit outside the range, talk to your Doc about it. Raised eosinophiles can be associated with simple things like allergy and hay fever. |
