I started taking toprol a few months back to help prevent tachycardia. At first I was fine taking it and I wasnt even sure it was even doing anything.
Now its totally different. I HAVE to take it. My heart gets out of control if I dont and I just cant breathe. What is going on. Is this medicine making my heart worse. Im always dizzy, tired, and I see sparkles a lot. My b/p and pulse are fine. What could be going on?

I take Toprol XL. There is a warning with my medicine that it is dangerous to stop taking it all at once if you have angina or heart problems. You have to be weaned off it.
I take it for SVT and when it is close to time to take my Toprol XL I feel shaky and it is worse if I go over.
Toprol also makes me very tired and dizzy

i take 75m toprol -- doesn't make me tired or dizzy at all -- or anything for that matter. i'm to be on it for 9 months.
