I have 2 year old twin daughters. One twin has thick hair with very little shedding and the other twin has noticeably more shedding and her hair looks much thinner. I can see thinning at the scalp. Has anyone experienced this and did you take you child to the pediatrician? I worry about everything, especially when it comes to my kids. I don't know if I am just be paranoid or not!

Thanks in advance,

i would most definitely bring this up with their ped when you see him/her the next time.to have two kids who are basically identical like they are with one who is so obviously different from the other in some way really should be evaluated by their doc.

this thinning could be caused by many different possibilities that just need to be looked into.even certain vitamin deficiencies can do this too.its just something that needs to be evaluated.make sure you have both of them with you at the time so the doc can really see the overall difference in them, there could possibly be other differences that you havent even noticed yet that could be very apparent to their doc.just mention this to their doc at the next check up.marcia
