There are approximately 50 women in the group I work with. Out of the 50, about 15 of us have had to have gall bladder surgery. Most of us in our early 30's. We have thought that percentage seems high and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of computers or anything else of that nature being the reason why gall bladder surgery might be necessary?

I am 25 years old and just had my gallbladder removed. When I found out I had gallstones I assumed it was because my cholestoral was high. Suprisingly I heard from 3 different doctors that gallstones are sometimes caused after a woman has a few children. I have had 3 kids. I have heard the same thing from fellow employees of both me and my husband, usually after 2 or 3 children. Maybe you all have that in common?
