I always get these bad stomach aches after i eat a small meal, and usualy since my stomach hurts so bad like it wants to pop, i feel like i can't breathe (pretty much all the time). the doc gave me prevacid. so far nothing is working and i feel like it gets bad and i need to go back to the ER (had bunch of xrays of chest and looks fine). anyone know why i get bad stomaches after eating?

TanItalian....

I get that too, the same thing. Is your stomach ache like right below your breast bone, like right in the middle of your midriff? It feels real tight, and like I can't take a whole deep breath in. I feel that way a lot too.

I have stopped coffee and acid foods, and take Prilosec too. It's awful. I think I'm going back to the Dr. to try to get some Protonix...I used that once, a couple of years ago, and it seemd to work better. I am so sick of this, myself. Do you get pain in your back with it too? Anyone else get these same symptoms? Anyone know what else might help us? The shortness of breath part is so scary sometimes.

Thanks in advance,...

Have either of you been to the doctor yet? It might be a good idea. Sorry I don't have any other suggestions.

Yes, been to the Dr., numerous times. Been tested..chest x-rays, PFT's, gallbladder ultrasounds, etc. You name, I've probably had it done. They still say GERD.

Yes I do also..I have been getting the pain in the upper quadrant mostly to the right side...gallbladder removed three months ago. Yesterday after eating felt uncomfortable mild pain never very severe...and feel it constantly in the mid back....Im hoping this has nothing to do with my pancreas

Eddie...

Sorry you're feeling low too. Why do you think it could be your pancreas? I['m just wondering] I know when I had a gallbladder ultrasound, they also looked at the pancreas....I'm pretty sure they said that....I think.

Hope you find an answer and relief soon too.
