Well my neuro said hes calling it myelitis to start with. I only have one lesion in my throacic spine but is causing the bladder, leg tightness, tightness around chest , and weak right leg problems I am having. Ok, so I have not been crazy all this time. Will follow up with a spinal tap in a couple of weeks. I had clear mri on brain and cervical. So with the diagnosis of myelitis and not ms, is this the correct board to post on? My neuro is still leaning towards ms since I have cognitive problems, but I think that is just due to the fact that I talk to 5 year old twin girls all day!!!!! Neuro is suggesting better mri imaging of the brain then the one I had done. This is all just a waiting game. Thanks for listening

Smile111,

I'm glad you are getting some answers.I had lumbar myelitis in 1998 , it left me impaired for 11 months.I had recovered from that and 18 months ago I started having a broad range of symptoms and was diagnosed with ppms. Not all myelitis turn into ms,but can be a precursor for it.You seem to have a good neuro who is on top of everything. The waiting game is a hard one.Somedays I wish my teenagers were 5 again,I think I got more of a conversation out of them then than now(lol).
Keep us posted
Toni
