Does anyone have a problem digesting eggs? My husband use to eat a lot of eggs when he was younger with no problem....then out of the blue they started causing him severe gas that is trapped inside of his stomach, it hurts so much that he has given up eating eggs. Is there something he can take or do to help him be able to digest eggs again?
Thanks

Don't know of anyone having problems digesting eggs . . . I always thought they were one of the easier foods to digest. I am wondering whether it might be something he always eats with the eggs.
Does he ever eat yogurt? If not, maybe increasing the digestive flora would help.

There isn't much he can do or take to ease his problem. Just stop eating eggs (yeah I know, I love eggs too). Maybe try making them a different way. And yes I agree with Judy. Is it something he eats with the eggs. Different bread? Different oil used to cook them? It may just go away all on it's own. Give it another try with just one egg in a few months and see what happens.

I am chiming in a little late here but, I can't tell you what to do to make it better, but I have the same problem with eggs. I have had to just stop eating them. Recently I saw a poster in my doctors office about food toxicity testing. I am thinking of having it done so I can see if I am allergic or something.

I had to reply when I saw your subject line about the EGGS! I had the same problem. I have been eating eggs my whole life (33 years) and have never had a problem with them until recently. I just get sick to my stomach if I try to eat them , and this only recently. BUT, I can have them in recipes. Just not the usual poached, fried, scrambled way.
Weird I thought... ;-)

I've just started having problems with eggs, too. It seems to start my day off with indigestion, but only if I eat them at home. If I go out and have a big breakfast with toast and potatoes or in an omelette, it seems to be ok. I've tried them at home both hard boiled and scrambled with no luck. I am going to try cutting them out altogether.
