Anyone here have erosive esphoagitis,or esphoagitis,or an erosion.Im trying to gain more information on this matter.I have a 2mm errosion right now near the cardia..How do you help get rid of erosions do they cause pain just looking for help..

Sounds like you have classic GERD. Do you get heartburn?

You need Proton-Pump Inhibitors (PPIs) like Nexium, Aciphex, Prevacid, Protonix or Prilosec. Prilosec is sold OTC, the others are by prescription.

These are very common medications and GERD is a very common disease. You'll probably need 1 dose per day, but possibly 2 is not responsive to 1 dose.

Ive been on meds for 4 plus years you name i tryed it.On aciphex again now,never quit taking meds..Yes i get heartburn i eat bland as heck to,what gives??

Has your GI said what is causing your reflux? Is it the spinchter that is bad? I have read your other posts and I feel your pain. I quit taking meds cuz they made my reflux worse. What kind of tests have you had? If you posted in a diff post I forgot sorry. There is such a thing as bile reflux you might look it up and ask your doc. It seems to me that if you have bile reflux PPI's wont work. They say they will but it doesn't make much sense.

I now have minor damage to my esophogus but no cause for my reflux. I am going to go read some of your other posts...BTW what is your dosage?
I loved Zegrid but I got edema from it. I was on it 2x a day.

Well I dont have errosive,just one blister (erosion 2mm),very small.Thing is you shouldnt get that while on PPI'S..So point being made I worry myself stupid,about what my future might belike.
The first scope I had 20 months ago mentioned Bile Reflux (how you get rid of that),this last scope didnt mention that.Ive had ultasound,and 2 egds.Havent had the manometry yet,or 24 hr test.Barrium swallow is the next test on the agenda..
i was on Zegerid 2 x a day to,but it wasnt working to great I was breaking through it,so now take Aciphex 20 mg 1 time a day,i was aciphex before zegerid for 3 plus years.Ive tried other ppi's to no help at all..i cant figure out what to do here..

Anyone with LPR ever have shortness of breath? My throat gets really tight and feels swollen at times. I also have chronic hoarseness. When I am having an "attack" I even get a little wheezy and feels like I can't get a good breath.
