So I just got home from a lovely entire afternoon of electrodes and glop. The BAER was interesting. The upper and lower SSEPs were a repeat, but didn't seem to go as well this time. The EEG seemed to have been done by a trainee. All of these tests with a new neuro are making me wonder if he's either trying to make a bunch of money or disprove my dx. Probably both. Still have the P300 and a repeat VEP that they want to do. Hope this isn't an annual production.
Anyone hear anything other than the sound of a shaking spray paint can during a BAER?

Hey Toni, I see the neuro Tuesday. I sure hope he doesn't want to put me back on the roller coaster! All of my EPs were normal last year after all. It was the other stuff that got me the dx. Will let you know!

lilc,

I was informed that the cleveland clinic lost my ssep and vep tests.$3500.00 in test and no specific results other than the tech telling me they were abnormal. What a screw up.Now I'm frustrated.I had ask for the results for 8 weeks now and gee no one can find them and they won't redo them unless I pay for them.

Toni, they are just insane. Tell your doctor (the good one), Or your insurance company. Get somebody else to argue with them, that is absurb...If you paid for the ones they lost, they owe you RESULTS. You didn't pay for the EXPERIENCE (its not an amusement park!)
