View Full Version : Quinine for Fibromyalgia?

Hi everyone

I do not have fibromyalgia but my mom does. This evening we were talking to a man who is a nurse about fibromyalgia and he said to try Quinine. His wife had leg problems (although not fibromyalgia-related) and this has been helping her and thought it might help my mom too (at least for her leg aches/tightness/etc).

I was just wondering, has anyone tried this, and if so what were your results? If it helped, did it only help the legs or did it help the arms, chest, etc as well?

Thanks :)

hi woodahs,
nice to meet you. about 12 years ago i was on quinine. it helped alot, however after a couple of years i went allergic and had to stop. then i really realized what help it had been gifting me with. my legs, arms and face went off the charts with twitching and pain.
tell mom it is worth a try, for sure. wish her all warm gentle things from us here. we know her journey and we care.
peace,
bluelakelady
