Well, I got some good news today. For anyone who remembers, I had a questionable, dumb encounter at the end of March. After 6 weeks, I went for an HIV antibody test, which came back negative. My doctor also did a HIV PCR test, however, the lab said they needed another blood sample because it wasn't prepared properly.
So I went to have my blood drawn where they had the equipment to do what they needed to do, and I finally heard about those results today. At 6 1/2 weeks. my HIV PCR test came back negative.
At this point, it's been 10 weeks. I go again next week for another HIV antibody test. I'm feeling much more optimistic with the test results I have received, and assuming they come back negative next week, I'll feel even better.
I feel very relieved even though I know nothing is conclusive yet...but I just had to tell someone.
