Anxiety doesn't just happen to you, you make it happen with your thoughts, your diet and exercise, sleep etc. My mom told me the next time i fell bad to remeber that i'm young and healthy and my bodies perfectly fine to take a pill. the trick is, once you take a pill, don't think about all the bad things it can do to you. Just be grateful that you just took something that is going to help you. It comes down to switching your focus in life, stop asking if it's going to hurt you or kill you. Has it ever up until this point?
