Sponsor MaxOT26 06-08-2006, 10:58 PM Well how much you sweat has to do with a lot of different factors. The main two being genetic factors and hormone levels. However, on a good note, sweating is actually a sign of increase fitness levels. Sweating is a natural and healthy response and can be impaired if a person is chronically dehydrated or unhealthy. Sweat away! Anjjou72 06-09-2006, 03:23 PM Geesh, nice to know that! No wonder why I like to swim...it hides my sweat! LOL Not like I care anyway, but I sweat like a man (well some men anyway) when I exercise out of the pool and I am always drinking water. (at least a gallon a day) I typically don't see many women sweat like me, that's for sure. Interestingly though, my husband does not sweat (even when working out) and he does NOT drink water. Coffee and diet soda are his beverages of the day. He's the only person I have ever known to go out and run 10 miles and come home and grab the soda out of the fridge!!??? What!!!??? Me, I'll drink a quart of water during my time on cardio! Naxis 06-09-2006, 03:30 PM Soda and coffee dehydrate. That's probably part of the reason he doesn't sweat, and it's not a good thing. |
