I have been having muscle spasms in my legs for awhile. Now my thighs just ache at times. What I wonder about it--my last mri was done in the past few months and it came back that my ms is "stable". Each time I have had one since my dx the mri has only been of my brain. Don't we get lesions in the spinal area also? I only have two lesions in my brain but I experience horrible pain. I have been on avonex for 3 1/2 years now. :angel:

Yes,you can get lesions in the spine.Muscle spasms is my worst symptom and they can be relentless.There are meds to help.I'm on zanaflex,baclofen and quinine.The more active I am the worse the spasms.The meds aren't doing the job they once had.I have no spinal lesions,so lord only knows where the spasms are coming from.The heat seems to make them more intense.
