I hope you guys don't think i'm repeating myself , but here it goes .
I had unprotected sex with a girl in mid oct 05 , i later found out she was poz so i got tested via ELISA jan 29 NEG , then tested again apr 3 NEG again
[ 24 weeks] BUT since mid jan i have had swollen tonsils that seem to hurt more as the day goes on and i also took a home candida test and belive i have that aswell . I took a trip to the dentist last week and was told i need 4 root canals and all of my wisdom teeth pulled .
My question is could my dental promlems of caused all of my oral concerns or should i re-test for hiv my doc said its not hiv related but i have my doubts .
p.s antibiotics did nothing for my tonsil pain.

Since you haven't elaborated on the "kind" of sex you had, perhaps that would help. However, you seem to have tested negative way past the three month (13 week) period usually advised for testing and my gut would say that you are, in fact, negative. It is fairly difficult to pass HIV from woman to man. However, if this is driving you crazy, you just may want to get tested again. chris

If I'm reding correctly you tested as far out as 6 months ?
If that's the case then there is no doubt that you are hiv -
Tonsils swell to fight infection and they may be battling a virus ( which is why the antibiotics aren't working ) or they could just be reacting to something from the dental work .
You should have you're doctor check them out and also take a culture to make sure it isn't something bacterial .
