Anxiety trigger

What to do when the trigger to your anxiety is someone close, yet it isnt their fault. They just seem to trigger that point in ones life where irrational thinking is causing anxiety.

I know It is irrational- I tell myself it is. YET - somewhere in this mind everytime I look - I have self dought - the *what if * factor - irrational thinking. How do I look and just see what is there- not what if or [U]am I missing something[/U.

Help me look and see the person- not the irrational thinking.

Thats a hard one. Your round someone who by no fault of their own causes you stress.

Maybe try and see something about them that is great and the side of them that doesen't cause you anxiety. I kinda know what you mean, I have a situation in my life that kinda the same

take care

Thank you for your reply. So you agree that this *What if* feeling that seems to take over me is Anxiety related. I see the truth, I tell myself there is no need to stress over it, yet deep down inside there is this little voice that keeps bringing up the........ WHAT IF you are forgetting something, or doughting what I know is true. I need to figure out how to shut that little voice up, and beleive myself.
