View Full Version : PVCs or Not PVCs - that is the question

Hi, I have been having some sorts of what I think are PVC's for years, and like everybody else here am torn between comfort that others have them and all the medical tests I've had show I have a normal heart, and panic that everybody else is wrong and I'm about to die. For the past year I have only had these things very seldomly. However, earlier this week I was in a meeting in the evening and had something come over me that was totally different. In that past the things I've felt have been in my upper / middle chest area - no pain, just a skipped beat sensation. This time the feeling was lower - just at the bottom of my rib cage. Also, where in the past I would get one or two skipped beats in about 5 seconds then back to normal, this time the feeling lasted probably 30 seconds. I got short of breath and started panicking that I was about to die. However, still no pain just an overwhelming sensation of panic. I had never felt them so low in my chest and so overwhelming and for such a long time.

Have I just experienced what many of you have been describing as PVCs? I thought the things I felt in my upper chest area were perfectly described as PVCs but this new thing now has me worried (again).

I know it could be a panic / anxiety attack as well. But who knows??

Anyone?
