Does anyone know if Morphine can have an effect on a man's sperm count or the motility of the sperm? My DH and I are TTC and he takes Morphine pills daily for a chronic back condition.

I think that opiates like morphine can effect hormone levels, which, in turn, can impact motility and morphology. Better check with your doctor. Maybe there's an alternative for your husband. Or a simple SA will tell you whether there's a problem -- might be nothing to worry about.
