I have been having a heart rate of 105-112 pretty routinely,I have been on some beta-blockers atenonol but had bad side effects, tried diltiazem no side effects but did not help fast heart rate. switched to toprolxl it helps but still have fast pulse. My question is should i go back to the doctor or is fast heart rate something i am supposed to get used to?

I wonder if the increased heart rate could be related to your diet. Are you drinking alot of caffeinated drinks? If you are then stop all coffee, teas and soft drinks. Eat a diet high in potassium, magnesium and calcium foods and see if that makes a difference. Of course, you should notify your MD if you don't notice improvement.
