hi all
ive been following so many of your stories on here and i just wanted to recommend trying acupuncture for a lot of you having problems, particularly those suffering with irregular periods or any gynae probs.
Im from the UK and was reading a magazine article about a guy over here who has helped loads of couples fall pregnant practically straight away following acupuncture, after years of trying. So many physical problems are due to blocked energy channels, i know not everyone believes in it but acupuncture has been proven to work.
Other holistic treatments such as reflexology are also worth a try.
Ive been TTC for nearly a year on and off and tests last year showed i wasnt ovulating. my periods are now becoming more regular so i am going to continue TTC for my next couple of cycles but if i have no success i will definitely be giving acupuncture a go. i feel ive got nothing to lose! we all want the same precious thing
baby dust to all!!

The specialist I go to (RE) offers referrals to accupunturists in the area (Chicago) that specialize in infertility, and supposedly there are studies that have proven that accupuncture increases pregnancy rates. I haven't tried it yet, but certainly would (despite my fear of needles, lol) if other things don't work out. Just thought I'd share that...

You do not feel the accupuncture needles so don't be afraid to try it on that basis. Really. The skin around the needles may feel a little warm from the energy (supposedly).

That said, and not to ruin anyone's potential placebo effect, but if it's been "proven" to work there would be clinical studies easily found on the internet.

I am aware of clinical support for accupuncture's effectiveness against knee arthritis but nothing else.
