Hello all, I am new to this board seeking some advice, because as it is, every time I go to my doctor about thise (3 times to be exact), he just tells me its nothing serious and most likely acid reflux, he prescribed me opeprozol 20mg and sends me on my way.
My symptoms were as follows:
Stomach feels full and heavy bloated.
Feel the need to constantly belch (burp) from my mid torso (behind lower rib cage.)
Find it hard to breathe normally, find myself often having to take deep breaths (very uncomfortable.)
Lower part of my rib cage feels tight (I assume from the bloating of my stomach.)
Heartburn (but not often at all).
Since being on these meds (for over a week) I no longer get heartburn of course, however, it has'nt stopped any of the other really uncomfortable symptoms, namely the bloating and difficulty breathing, and these symptoms are present day in day out, so I dont know how my doctor can just shove me away and tell me its nothing.
I have no problems on the toilet, just the same as always, I dont feel any pain as such (unless you count the tight feeling around my lower ribs as pain).
Any ideas, its driving me crazy.
