Hi everyone. I am going in for a colonoscopy on Thurs...I have never done this before, but have known people who have. Not too worried about the procedure itself, but am very nervous about how that drink stuff will be on my stomach. It has never made anyone I know of sick to their stomach, but am still nervous about being nauseated or throwing it up. Has anyone had this happen to them? I will be drinking NuTelly (I think that is how you spell it). It probably won't have any effect what so ever on me except cleaning me out, but I do get myself all worked up when I think I might be sick per say.

I had this done. I'm deathly afraid of throwing up and I was nervous about taking it too. I'm not sure the name of the stuff I drank but, it's prob. all about the same. I started the prep about an hour before they told me too at night and in the morning. I didn;t get anymore nausous than usual and it does make you go alot! but, it isn't that bad really! i have a suggestion ( going through this kind of thing a few times) it's going to sound gross but, I'm trying to save you from some pain buy some preperation H or some kind of baby rash ointment and put it on your bum in between trips to the bathroom it will save you from some pretty bad pain. sorry just wanted to help. diane
