I've had a 1cm or so area to the lower right of my pupil on my eyeball that has been red for about a week now. It doesn't cause any major discomfort although occasionally minor.

I might not be able to get to the optomotrist for a week or so, could allergies cause something like this?

your eye will just look really bloody, red. But there should be NO pain.
