Now, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my surgery but it seems like my eye has been dry all the time (and very itchy) since surgery. Now, I realize that it is allergy season and both of my eyes are dry but it seems worse in my post op eye. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a cornea transplant and found out afterwards that dry eye can be a side effect of the surgery. It can be persistent at times and frustrating. I try to keep very hydrated and I also got the plug in my eye duct which has helped. You should ask your doctor if this could be a side effect of the surgery. I was never told until I complained about my dry eye.

That is what I will have to do then. I was never told that htis could be a side effect. Maybe they try not to worry you about side effects that most people don't get. Of course, I would be the person to get it (Horrible Luck) . . . oh well . . . thanks for your reply!!
