I was diagnosed as having IBS-Constipation in late 1989.My main complaint is chronic belching which I have never been able to get any help with.I had two gastric emptying studies which showed that my stomach was "sluggish" in emptying both times.I knew a woman who had the same GI complaints as myself and she was given Propulsid.That along with diet guidance,excercise & stress management helped her with her Upper GI symptoms.Propulsid was taken off the market around the same time I last sought help from a GI doctor.I have an appointment with a new GI doctor next week and was wondering if anyone knows of any other meds for this condition?I have hypothyroidism(am on Synthroid) and had my Gallbladder removed in 93.Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated.Thanks http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
